Was That Him?

James: Did you enjoy the Jim Carrie films last night? 

 

Betty: Films? We watched three films, but there was one Jim Carrey film. Am I right? 

 

James: He was the main character in the second film How the Grinch Stole Christmas. 

 

Betty: Oh my God! Was that him? He looked so different, didn’t he? Yes, with all those costumes and changes to the face.

 

James: OK. Let me see. In the first film – sorry I can’t remember the name of the film because it was too long – that old man wasn’t Jim Carrey, was he?

 

Betty: Yes. That was also Jim Carrey! He played Count Olaf, remember?

 

James: Yes, I do, but he didn’t look like Jim Carrey at all. Now I’m in doubt. What about the third film, The Truman 

 

Betty: Show? That was surely Jim Carrey, wasn’t it?
