WE ARE LOST
Lucy: Oh no, Pete. I deleted all the maps on my phone, and I don’t have Internet connection here. What do we do?
Pete: No worries. We’re close to the park, aren’t we? We can ask someone to show us the way.
Let’s ask this couple here. Excuse me, we’re lost here. Could you please give us the directions to Canton Park?
Man: Sure. From where we are, the easiest way is to go straight on Brent Street – along the river.
Then turn right on Canton Road, and walk up the road until you arrive at Rhyme Square.
There, you can see the park. Don’t turn left or right. Just cross Fifth Street and walk for a block on Pearl Street.
The park entrance is on the left.
Woman: But this route is longer. The shorter route is to take Thompson Road. We’re under the bridge now.
Climb the stairs and walk north on Thompson Road. You’ll see Gills Square. In front of you, you can see Green Road.
Walk down this road and turn left on Fifth Street.
Walk up Fifth Street and turn right to Pearl Street when you arrive at Rhyme Square. From there, walk for a block.
The entrance is on the left.
Pete: Wow, thank you so much. So, which route do you want to take?
Lucy: We have enough time, and I like the view of the river. Let’s take the longer route.
Pete: OK. Let’s go!
