What a Party!
My parents said they would be on holiday abroad this weekend. When I heard this, I started thinking about organizing a house party. I was very excited and of course, I didn’t tell anything to my family.
On Friday, while the history teacher was telling us about a past war, I wasn’t listening to him, because I was preparing the list of the people that I would like to invite to my party. At the break, I talked about the party with my best friend, Teresa. While we were making plans, Sally heard us. Although her name was not on the list, I also invited her to my party. She said she could help with the cooking, because she was very good at it. It sounded like a good idea. I already found someone to help me with the cleaning. It was Teresa. Now, I had someone to help me with the cooking: Sally.
After school, Sally, Teresa and I went shopping to buy the things on our shopping list. While we were shopping, we saw the history teacher. He saw us with a shopping cart full of chips and drinks. He said “Now, I can understand what you were doing in my lesson”. I was embarrassed and I apologized him for my behavior. I also had to invite him to the party, but luckily he said “It is a house party for teenagers. It is better if I don’t come. Thanks for inviting me. Have fun”.
We went home and first we started with the cleaning. While Teresa was cleaning the tables, Sally and I were cooking for the party. While doing all these things, we had so much fun. Sally was even taking selfies too. When we were finished with everything, our guests started to come. We were very lucky, because our class had a rock band and they started playing their instruments. We all sang and danced. While they were playing a loud song, the bell rang. I was busy at the time, so one of my friends opened the door. When I turned around, I saw my mum and dad. I felt horrible but they didn’t say anything to me in front of my friends. Later, I learnt about my punishments. The whole year I couldn’t go to any of my friends’ parties, because I was not honest to my family.
