What a Vacation!

Last year, we had the worst family trip. So many bad things happened, and we were all shocked. My parents and I always wanted to go to the Maldives. It was one of our dreams. We all saved our money for a whole month for this trip because the tickets were very expensive from Turkey.

We bought the cheapest flight, and it was at 4 o’clock in the morning. Unfortunately, the alarm didn’t ring, and we woke up at 4 o’clock! When we got to the airport, it was too late. We missed the plane, so we had to buy new tickets. We had to pay so much extra money for that. Also, a tour guide was going to wait for us at the airport there, but he didn’t! He left the airport because we were so late. Dad said, “We can’t call the guide because our mobile phones are both dead”. We couldn’t contact him.

We went to our hotel by ourselves. This was our third shock! The hotel wasn’t like the pictures on the internet. The rooms were very small, and the food was not good. There was just one perfect thing about our holiday. The sea was gorgeous!
