What an Unlucky Day!

Last night, Mrs. Samantha wanted to prepare a delicious dinner. She bought some sausages, some cream and apples for an apple pie. When she came home, she put everything on the table. While she was setting the table, her two pets sat under it and watched her. Then she went to the kitchen to make the pastry for the pie. She was a little tired so she didn’t realize that the sausages, cream and the apples were still on the table. While she was making the pastry, the dog jumped on a chair and looked at the sausages. It waited for a minute and took them in its mouth and jumped off the chair. Mrs. Samantha screamed, but the dog ran into the garden. She ran after the dog. While she was chasing the dog, the cat jumped on the table and started to lick the cream. Mrs. Samantha couldn’t catch the dog, and she came back into the kitchen. When she saw the cat, she shouted, and the cat was so scared that it jumped out of the window. Mrs. Samantha threw her broom at the cat, but she missed, and broke the window. At the same time, she almost fell down and the cream was all over the table. Poor Mrs. Samantha couldn’t eat anything. She cleaned up the mess and because she was so upset, she decided to go to bed. It wasn’t a lucky day for her.
