What Are You Going To Do This Summer?

Jane: ‘I’m not going to travel anywhere. We have a beautiful forest and beaches here, and I never get bored with them. I’m going to go hiking in the forest and relax on the beach. I need it, especially after a difficult year at school. This year’s lessons are really hard, and I’m really tired.’

Justin: ‘We have a big farm here with lots of buildings and very big fields. Last week we had a terrible storm and it damaged all the buildings. My family and I are going to have a busy summer. We’re going to work hard to fix everything. I had plans to visit and stay with my grandparents in August, but that’s not going to happen.’

Liam: ‘My university is in a very beautiful region. So my parents and sisters are going to come to visit me this summer. I’m going to take them to the forest here. They want to see the waterfall there. There are lots of places that I can show them. I’m going to be really busy, but I love exploring this place.’

Meredith: ‘My job is often stressful and sometimes boring, so I need a change. I’m going to take three weeks off work in July. I’m already excited about my trip to the Amazon rainforest. I’m going to join a group of tourists and explore the rainforest for a week. Then I’m going to board a cruise ship and visit different cities on the way back home! Cool, right?’
