What Did you Learn This Year

Lenna: ‘I didn’t like English lessons a lot, but this year I learnt lots of things. My English lessons weren’t easy, but my teacher was fantastic. Mr Andrews helped me so much. Because of his great energy, I started to like the English language. Now I know that I’m very good at learning new vocabulary. Grammar was a bit difficult, but my American friend Megan helped me with it. We chatted online and talked about my mistakes in grammar and pronunciation.’ 

 

Johan: ‘At the beginning of this year, I was so sad that we had to study programming and computer science. I wasn’t very good at maths, and I wasn’t interested in technology at all. I was more interested in sport. However, everything changed during the first week. My ICT teacher Miss Anderson put me in a group of students who were interested in sport as well. We worked hard to write programs for a robot. Finally, last week we entered the robot combat competitions. I’m so excited to win the competitions.’
