What Do We Do?

Hi! I am Alex. I am a middle school student and I live with my parents and sister. My mother works in a post office. She helps people when they want to send cards, letters or money. It is not a very big post office because people don’t send cards or letters a lot today. There are five people in the post office that she works in. My father is fire fighter so he works at a fire station. He helps people and animals. For example, when people see a cat in a tree, they call the fire station and the fire fighters save the cat. He also helps when there is a fire. It is very nice to help people by saving their lives. My sister is a student at a university. This year is her last year and she doesn’t go to school every day so she works part time at a tourist office near our house. It is very good for her because she practices French and she meets new people. Also, she doesn’t get bored because she has a busy life.

At the weekends, I go to the supermarket with my mum to help her because she buys lots of things like fruits, vegetables and meat for us. I help her carry the bags and put them in the car. In our family everybody is busy so we always help each other.
