What do we have to do to win?

Matt is talking to Sonia. She’s the table tennis champion.

Matt: Sonia, I’m so happy you’re the new table tennis champion. What did you do to win the competition?

Sonia: I practised a lot. I played 4 hours every day.

Matt: Did you buy expensive bats and shoes?

Sonia: A good bat is very important, but you don’t need good shoes.

Matt: Did you eat any special food?

Sonia: I just didn’t eat unhealthy foods. I ate three times a day, only healthy foods.

Matt: Is it important to have a good uniform?

Sonia: Yes. Bad uniforms can make you play badly. I got my own uniform.

Matt: Did you have a coach?

Sonia: Not really. Only my sister helped me with exercising before my matches.
