What Do You Think About School?

Most students complain about going to school, but I never feel upset about it. School is the place where I feel happy and confident most of the time. The reason why I enjoy going to school is that I get the chance to do my favourite activities there. I’m keen on football, and I’m in the football club. I love science and I can work in the lab with my teacher twice a week. I like being in nature, and we go trekking once a month. Why should I complain about going to school? I have fun there.

Let me tell you what we are doing in the Art Club these days for example. We are visiting some schools in the city and painting pictures with young kids. We are planning to start an exhibition when we have lots of paintings from different schools. We want to sell them and raise money for the children in Africa. Isn’t it amazing? I feel, you know, kind of proud of what we are doing. This is just one example. We do such things very often, and this is what makes school a good place to be.

I think the best time of school is the spring term. We are really busy in April and May because we have a school show in June every year. I take part in almost everything, like drama, concerts and dance. We practice for weeks. Yes, it’s a busy season, but the thing is, I love being busy. This year’s school show is full of surprises for both students and parents. I can’t wait to be on stage!
