WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB?

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB?

How can you describe your ideal job when somebody asks you about it? Will you be totally honest when you know the person who asks will definitely judge your opinion? It is not really easy to deal with people’s judgement but every single person in the world has some utopic expectations as well as the realistic ones.
What are your expectations before you
sign a contract? How are you going to deal with the questions in a possible interview when you are looking for a job? Most people are not sure about their choice until they retire. In order to help us make the right decision, career counselors broke this topic down into three parts, like this;

1. What skills would you prefer to use?

The counselors are focusing on the question; “What are you good at?” You need to highlight your skills and decide what specific skills you want to demonstrate while working. You don’t need to focus on the ones you are a superstar at.

2. What are your areas of interest?

In this one, you need to focus on your primary interests that can draw you into the specific industry you choose. “What are you interested in” is the key question to ask yourself before anyone else asks. People work for ages and then they realize they have no interest in what they do. Some are lucky to resign and some continue desperately. Life is too short to have the wrong career.

3. What are your values?

The last question to find the right answer is going to be about the things we value. You also need to find out what your career values are. This will give you and the employer an idea about your career motivation. People all value different things. You need to be clear about your values if you are job hunting. Once you are clear about those, you can answer any question about your ideal job when asked.
