What is Your School Routine Like?

Alicia: ‘I never go to class late. I always leave my house at 8 in the morning, so I’m usually at school at 8.20, and sometimes at 8.30. The classes start at 8.45. In our school, students don’t have breakfast because they usually have breakfast at home. Sometimes students buy food from the canteen, but I never do that. We always eat our lunch in the dining hall. Sometimes some students don’t like the food at school, so they usually bring their lunch from home. The school usually finishes at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, but sometimes we can go home early when we have PE.’

David: ‘My house is far from my school, so I sometimes arrive at school late, but only 10 minutes or so. Our classes start at 9, and students can eat breakfast. I never eat breakfast at school because I always have it at home. Our canteen opens at 10 o’clock. Before lunch, I usually buy a biscuit and some water. All the students at my school go to the dining hall to eat lunch. The canteen is always closed at lunchtime. It opens again at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Our school always finishes at 5.30 in the afternoon.’
