What John Likes ?

Hi! I’m John and I’m 13 years old. On weekdays, I go to school for six hours each day, so I don’t have a lot of free time for activities. I also have extra French lessons after school. In the evenings, if I have any free time, I watch TV or play computer games. I also like to chat with my friends online. I have to share the computer with my sister because we only have one. She likes surfing the Internet and watching music videos.

At the weekends, I like to be outside. I play football with my friends and we have our own team. We are training for the championship this year! It is fun but it is also hard work. In the evenings, I sometimes go to the cinema with my friends or my sister. Sometimes, we go to a fast-food restaurant. Usually, the food isn’t very good though.

When school is closed in the summer, I have a lot of free time so I go to my grandparents’ village in Crete.I enjoy going to the beach and swimming every day. I also water ski. I think it is fun and very exciting when the boat goes fast. Next year I want to try other extreme sports too, like bungee jumping! I think it looks scary but I still want to do it. I am not sure my parents will let me, though.

I want to go snowboarding this Christmas holiday. It looks really exciting and I like to try new things. In winter, we usually go to Athens, but I hope my parents will take me somewhere snowy, like Parnassus.
