What’s the weather like?

It’s June and we’re asking people to talk about the weather in their cities. What’s the weather like in your city? And what are you wearing?

It’s 39 degrees Celsius in New York. It’s very hot. We’ve got sunny weather almost every day. Sometimes it rains in June, but not much. I’m walking in Central Park. I’m wearing a T-shirt, shorts and sports shoes. My shorts are long and black, but my T-shirt is white.

I live in Punta Arenas in Chile. My country is in the southern hemisphere, so it’s wintertime in June. It’s very cold here. It’s usually snowy, and sometimes we have rain. I’m wearing a jacket, long socks, a scarf and boots. My socks are thick. I can’t go out without them.
