Where Do You Want To Live ?

Tina: ‘When I grow up, I want to have a house in the countryside. I don’t like living in the city because our city is noisy and dirty. The countryside has cleaner air, and the views of the mountains and hills are fantastic. Some people say life is more difficult in the countryside. I agree, but it’s also more enjoyable.’

Martin: ‘I live in a small village, and when I grow up I want to live in a big city like London. Big cities have everything. You don’t get bored because you can have a more interesting life, you can meet new people every day, and you can go to fantastic places to have fun. I know that life in the city is more expensive, but you can have a job that pays you well.’

Sheila: ‘I live in the suburbs and I like it here. I don’t want to move to the countryside because, in the suburbs, you are closer to the city centre. I don’t want to live in the city centre, though, because it’s just too noisy for me, and the flats there are more expensive than the houses in the suburbs.’
