Where Would You Like to Work?

As we all know people need money to live but where do people go to earn money? Does everyone work at the same types of buildings? Can people work at home or at cafés just by taking their laptops with them? Where can you concentrate better? At home or at the office? Why? Here you will read different ideas from people who work in different places and how they feel about it.

Jackie: “I am happy about working in an office because I don’t have self-discipline. If I worked at home, I would get up late and be lazy. My office is a social place for me where I can meet my friends, too.”

Tina: “Most of my friends and I think that offices are boring. We like working in coffee shops where we can organize our meetings and drink our favourite coffees. When it is lunch time, we don’t waste our time finding a place to eat. Coffee shops have everything we need. We can eat and work at the same time.”

Selena: “I feel very lucky because I work at home. Working at home has so many advantages. For example, you can organize your own time. When I have a lot of things to do, I wake up very early and start working immediately or I can work till midnight. If it is not a busy day for me I can go out and find some time to relax.”
