White Shark Facts

You can see white sharks in all the oceans on the Earth but mostly in the cooler places. They can grow up to 6 meters long. That’s half the length of a bus. The great white sharks are grey and they have got a white belly and that is why they are called white sharks. When they are young, they eat fish and rays.
When they are older and bigger, they feed on other sea animals like sea lions, seals and small whales. They have got 300 sharp teeth. They can smell very well. They get the smell of a sea lion family from two miles. When white sharks give birth to babies, they never take care of them. Actually the baby white sharks, called pups, swim away from their mother.
