WHO IS SPACE FOR?

Would you like to travel to space? Do you think space is just for astronauts? A lot of animals have been to space before, like dogs, fish, monkeys, rats and frogs. Do you know the reason why people send animals to space? The answer is to learn more about space.

Scientists try to find the answer to this question: Is there life on other planets? So, they send animals to space to see what happens to them when they go there. These are called science experiments. They are tests to see if people can live safely in space or on other planets.
