WHY ARE “TASTY” VIDEOS SO TASTY?
We all know them. We all watch them. And of course, we all love them. They have been popping up on our Facebook feed for a long time. So what do these foodie people think about them? Read what they said about “Tasty” cooking videos in a street interview:
TINA: I love the concept of Tasty videos. In these fast-motion videos, you see a detailed and step-by-step recipe. You see just how easy it is to make some really cool dishes, appetisers, desserts and more.
PETER: They give crucial information: should the pasta water be salted? What kind of cheese should be used?Parmigiana?Pecorino? Honestly, these videos teach us very important things about cooking.
JOE: I want to create such beautifully plated snacks and dinners, but I know from experience that I am not good at cooking. This, however, won’t stop me watching these videos.
EMILY: I live in a dorm and have no stovetop, oven or a toaster. There is only a microwave, a mini-fridge and a freezer. Sometimes I get sick of the food in the dining hall or I’m totally over ramen noodles for dinner. At these times, I watch Tasty for their “easy” and “no-bake” microwave-friendly videos.
TONY: Facebook videos do it better because unlike one-hour shows, they are under one minute long. And in today’s busy world, 60 seconds is the recipe for success. So to the creators of Tasty, thanks for all the videos. You rock!
