Why Do Animals Go Extinct?

Do you know the name of this animal in the picture? I am almost sure that you don’t, because this animal doesn’t live anymore. It is a Bali Tiger. The last Bali Tigers died or were killed in 1937.

The Bali Tigers were born on the island of Bali and most of them lived there. Because of the people there, their numbers got less and less and finally they became extinct. What did people do so that we can’t see these animals anymore? These tigers can live only in some forests and when people destroyed these forests, they destroyed their natural habitat. People also hunted these animals.

We must think that the world is not a house just for us. It is a house for all the living things including plants, flowers, trees and all types of animals. People should respect them all.
