Meet Tardar Sauce, a.k.a. Grumpy Cat! An unusual cat with an unusual name. She made her first debut on Reddit in 2012. Since then, this frowning feline has become an Internet meme. Her video “The Original Grumpy Cat” got more than 20.600.000 views on YouTube. If you don’t live on a desolate island without the Internet, you’ve seen this grumpy cat’s face before. Grumpy Cat seems to hate most humans. She cuts off every cheerful thing with “No!”. She refers to just every fun activity on the planet as “It is awful!” She always looks angry.... well, just add all negative adjectives to this list! But Grumpy Cat isn’t actually all that grumpy. She just looks grumpy. But where does her unique look come from? She has feline dwarfism – a special condition. It causes this famous expression on her face. Her owners say Tardar is a completely happy and funny cat. In fact, she's pretty lovable! Most of the time, she is very calm, but she is also playful. She particularly likes to hide behind curtains. "She’s super frisky, especially between 3 and 6 a.m. – when you’re trying to get your deepest sleep, she wants to play," they say. Yes, Grumpy Cat looks a bit cranky; but it makes us happy. Everybody’s smiling when they look at her. That’s why Grumpy Cat is just awesome!
