Wild Animals in Africa

David likes watching videos about wild animals. Right now, he’s watching a video about wild animals in Africa. His father is reading a magazine next to him. There are two monkeys climbing a tree. They are picking some fruit and eating them. ‘Do monkeys only eat fruit?’ he asks his dad. ‘Yes, and some vegetables, too.’ his father says.
David is looking at the screen again. He can see two big rhinos. They are fighting. One of them is running away. The other rhino is going into the water now. It’s swimming. There are four hippos in the water. The baby hippo is standing next to its mother. Two hippos are drinking water. Suddenly, a big crocodile goes into the water. The hippos run away. The crocodile is swimming in the water. He can’t catch them. ‘I don’t think I like crocodiles’ David says. ‘I like hippos best.’ ‘I agree.’ says his father.
The elephants are hiding under the big tree. It’s sunny and they don’t like the hot sun. ‘Are there any seals in Africa?’ asks David. ‘Seals live by the sea ’says his father, ‘There is no sea in this part of Africa. But we can see them when we go on a boat trip in summer’. David likes this idea a lot. He thinks baby seals are so cute.
