World Wildlife Foundation
WWF (World Wildlife Foundation) is an organization which aims to protect nature. They work for 6 different issues: food, climate, freshwater, wildlife, forests and oceans.
a) Food: There are people who waste too much food and also there are those who don’t have enough food in the world. We can use farmlands and rivers more efficiently to increase food production. People mustn’t waste their food.
b) Climate: Climate change affects every living thing on earth. Fossil fuels cause most of the climate change. We must stop using them immediately and we should use renewable energy instead.
c) Freshwater: Only 2,5% of the world’s water is drinkable. Nearly 2 billion people don’t have enough water. Everybody should work together to protect the freshwater of our world.
d) Wildlife: Thousands of species are endangered because of one: people. We mustn’t destroy animals’ living spaces. We can live all together in peace.
e) Forests: People are like cancer cells destroying the earth’s lungs. If deforestation continues, we could lose all of our forests by 2050. We can’t let this happen. We must stop deforestation and grow more trees.
f) Oceans: Oceans give us half of the oxygen we breathe. We must protect the oceans otherwise our lives could be at risk. We must end plastic use which pollutes the oceans.
