Worrying About Pollution

I'm worried about pollution. Pollution hurts trees and animals, and makes our water and the air we breathe dirty.  A lot of pollution comes from making electricity and heating homes. Burning coal is a big problem in my neighbourhood. People use it to keep their houses warm in winter. I smell coal everywhere I go. I even smell coal in my classroom right now. Pollution might become less of a problem in the future. We may use wind power for electricity. That means electricity will be cheaper. They may put natural gas heating systems into our homes too. I might not smell coal in my classroom after the natural gas systems are working.
