WORST TRIP

Last year, we had the worst trip as a family. So many bad things happened and we were all shocked. My parents and I always wanted to go to the Maldives. It was one of our dreams. We all saved up some money the whole month for this trip because the trip and the tickets were very expensive.

We bought the cheapest flight and it was at 4 o’clock in the morning. Unfortunately, the alarm didn’t work and we woke up at 4 o’clock and when we went to the airport it was too late. We missed the plane so we had to buy another ticket to go there and we had to pay so much extra money for that. A tour guide was going to wait for us at the airport there. However, we arrived so late that he didn’t wait for us anymore and he left the airport. We didn’t have our mobile phones with us and we didn’t know his phone number so we couldn’t contact him.

We went to our hotel by ourselves and of course it was late but the hotel wasn’t like the one in the pictures on the internet. The rooms were very small and the food was not rich. There was just one perfect thing about our holiday. The sea was gorgeous. I never swam in a sea like that before.
