Writing new songs

Hi, my name is Ashley. I’m in a music band. I’m one of the singers. All the band members are my classmates. We play different kinds of music, and I can sing different kinds of songs. I can play the piano, but I’m not very good at it. Here are two of my bandmates.

Joe is our pianist. He’s very good at playing the piano. He’s taking piano lessons in a great music school. Right now, he’s recording part of a song for our first album. He can play beautifully and fast. He can also play the cello and the violin, but he’s not very good at playing them.

Maria is our violinist. She’s also a student at a music school. She knows a lot about recording music, so she always records our songs. Right now, she’s sitting next to Joe with her microphones and her laptop. She’s recording the piano part of our new song.
