Xiang Su: A Day In The Life Of...

My name is Xiang Su. I am 17 years old and I live in China. I go to school from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. After school, I go to work in a factory. The factory is outside the city so it takes me one hour to get there. The factory makes clothes that are sold in other countries. I work in the sewing department. It is a very tiring and difficult job but I must do it because my family needs the money I earn. I finish work at 11 p.m. and get home at midnight. 

I’m Tim. I’m 16 years old and I live in England. I go to school from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. After school, I go to work in a cafe in town. At the cafe, I serve people tea and coffee, cakes and sandwiches. I don’t make the cakes or sandwiches, someone else does. I quite like my job. It is easy and not very stressful. I finish work at 8 p.m. I am working so I can save up some money to go on holiday with my friends next year.
