BLOGGER

BLOGGER

A decade ago, the word ‘blogger’ was not even pronounced by many of the fashion addicts.
Nowadays, however, it is almost
considered a full-time job.
The bloggers are
appearing on any kind of social media we use today.
So why are fashion bloggers so
popular? And do you think it is a positivething to be exposed to them so much?
One of the reasons that they have become so famous is that they set up the trends and interpret them so that an average person on the street can follow and apply it to his/ her own life.
In other words,
they bring catwalk into a more user-friendly standard which makes it accessible for the people on the street. We can wear a Chanel skirt, for example, on daily basis, without looking like a child raiding a dressing-up box just by following bloggers advice.
More recently, famous brands have begun to realize how important fashion bloggers are in terms of branding.
In the last few years, every famous designer at the fashion weeks has had at least one fashion
blogger,
at the request of the brand itself. Why? So that the bloggers can later blog about the show they
have just seen,
in a way that draws the attention of the consumers.
But is the rise of the blogger a good thing for fashion?
Fashion editors have spent years to learn about
fashion.
They are and were always invited to sit at the front row in a big fashion show.
However, a blogger
with only 2 years of experience can look more famous and might draw all the attention although it does not sound fair to most. Time eventually will show us whether the world of fashion bloggers will outlive the trends that they write about or not.
Today we can just enjoy the way they make most brands accessible to
us.
